The economy of Mordor is slightly complicated at times. As with all cultures on Elendor, it has the leather, ore, lumber producing idems that use money to make their goods. These goods are then used to produce weapons and equipment which the Characters can buy.
While the pay days of Mordor come infrequently the pay rate for ranks is:
Mordain Pay | |
---|---|
Snaga | Silver Dimes |
Dog | Gold Florin |
Logaz | Gold Florins |
Rakarg | 3 Gold Florin 2 Silver Dimes |
Tekrak | Gold Florins |
Teguk | 10 Gold Florins |
Players can also receive payments in otherways. Many orcs have other jobs besides that of fighting for the EYE. Also another great source for income is through bribes and doing other little odd jobs for others.
Along with the many types of jobs in Mordor there are some that more readily see to getting money and goods flowing through the economy. These jobs also interact with eacher in some way.
+Forester. This is a coded job in which the player gives +money to the forest Idem and then Harvests the lumber later and sells it to the garrison. Usually this postion is called Head Forester, and he also has apprentices and work groups to help rp Chopping the trees down.
+Miner: Coded job in which player gives money to the Mine Idem then harvests the ore and sells to the garrison. Usually called Head Miner has apprentice and other orcs to help rp the mining.
+Herder: Coded job in which player gives money to the Herd Idem then harvests the leather and sells to the garrison. Usually called Master Herder, has apprentice and other orcs to help rp the mining.
+Smith: Coded job in which player gives money and other resources to the Forge and creates the needed weapons and armor for the culture. Usually called Master smith, has apprentices and orcs to help rp the forging.
Quarter Master: Job in which player purchases equipment from Smiths then sells them to the other players.
Fletcher: Job in which player purchases +arrows, the arrow heads from Smiths, then rps making the arrows, then sells to players and QM.
Since these jobs are a big part of the Economy, players interested in them should ask the Las about them. Then, if the Las decide that they are capable and there is an opening, they may be given the job.
