Description
Once beloved Minas Ithil of Gondor, this fortified city and tower was incorporated into the control of Mordor in TA 2002. The city now houses a vast army of Uruks, Olog, and Humans, and the tower houses the majority of the Nazgul, as well as some other curiosities. From this city arises the major threat to the westward Gondor and nearby Ithilien.
Territory
Minas Morgul dominates western Mordor, and its influence can be felt into Ithilien, where its orcs and trolls raid travelers and launch offensives against the Gondorian soldiers in Osgiliath. The orcs of Minas Morgul come from the Orc Pits of Imlad Morgul, a warren north of Imlad Morgul from which tunnels branch out over the long leagues to other subterranean networks in Gorgoroth.
Occupants
Minas Morgul is occupied primarily by orcs, though trolls of Gorgoroth can often be found there, and its leaders are of course the Nazgul. There is often rivalry between the orcs of Minas Morgul and those of the much smaller fortress of Cirith Ungol to the east.
INSIGNIA: The moon, disfigured by a ghastly face of death. This symbol is worn on black surcoats, and appears on the black flags of Minas Morgul.
History

For many years a great clan of orcs, the Zaghbuurz, dominated the orcs of western Gorgoroth and Morgul Vale, and their leaders resisted violently (and died for it) when the tribes were outlawed by the Vorazg's Decree. It is quite possible that some orcs retain secret ties and loyalties to their fellows, formerly of the clan, but with the influx of orcs from Barad-dur every orc mus
