Welcome to the website of MORDOR, the Land Where Shadows Lie, home to (in the always humble opinion of the webmaster) some of the finest roleplaying of ElendorMUSH, itself the premier MUSH related to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Mordor was founded as an Elendor culture by Sauron, now the last remaining founder of ElendorMUSH, and has always been a large, dynamic, challenging, and (above all!) FUN part of the game.

We strive to portray Mordor as Tolkien wrote it. Mordor is the heart of the realm of the Dark Lord, and it is unequivocally stamped with his character. Here are ambition and slavery, brutality and ruthless cunning, corruption at every level, evil of every scale. This is the Land of Shadows, the wellspring of danger and fear.
