Of Prisoners and Renegade Orcs

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Grishnakh gazes at Glurg'erg with an expression of contempt and sardonic humor. "You, now. What is your role in the tribe?"

Glurg'erg chuckles at Ver-beeg's statement, then nods. "Aye... I be having some... Nasty toys in m' wagon dat will kill dis one, but he will talk. " He looks sharply towards the Vorazg, and shrugs slightly. "I be the High-Shaman, Mast Vorazg."

Grishnakh says, "I see. Captain Ver-beeg here killed the last High Shaman of the Burzum-Prakh. What do you think of that, Shaman? Were you pleased to have the opportunity to replace the dead one, perhaps?"

Celebhir cannot hear the words, but he guesses at least part of it is about him. He watches them, leaning back aginst the pole in the most comfortable position he could find.

Ver-beeg frowns a bit as the Vorazg says this ..but that is all..then looks to Glurg'erg for his reaction...

Glurg'erg shrugs slightly. "He deserved to die. He tried to kill you, great one. Dat be a bad ting, eh? I just be trying to pleas da eye, Master Vorazg." Glurg bows his head down slightly, then looks back up, his hood hiding his features, and his hand deeb withisn his robes.

Grishnakh smiles coldly. "He did not try to kill me, Shaman. Like a coward he ordered flunkies to try. And when I overcame three Burzum-Prakh assassins, he lied and fled. Are you that sort of coward, High Shaman? I wonder."

Ver-beeg looks back to Grishnakh for but a moment..then back to the Shaman..knowing thing could get messy at one wrong word he take a step back to be out of sword's range...

Grishnakh's attention and cold, cold smile remain on Glurg'erg.

Glurg'erg looks up at Grishnakh, the inside of hi shood pure black. "No, I be not a coward, Master Vorazg. " He does not say another word, only stands, watching the Vorazg. He is not tense; his muscles seem loose, and his voice steady.

Grishnakh says, "No? Good. I am pleased to hear that, Shaman. And if one of your tribe committed some grave sin against the Burzum-Prakh, what would you do?"

An orc guard waits near Celebhir's pole. A short, stout creature with a crooked snaggled smile, he walks closer and looks up at the captive, prodding Celebhir's stomach with the butt of a spear.

Glurg'erg blinks slightly, then shrugs his shoulder. "If one of my tribe be committing a sin against da BUrzum-prakh.. A GRAVE sin.. Dan he be punished, Master Vorazg."

Celebhir looks down at the orc and snarls.....

Grishnakh says, "Punished? How?"

The orc guard cackles quietly up at the helpless prisoner. "Not so strong now, are you, tall one? Eh?" He prods Celebhir's stomach again.

Ver-beeg as the Shaman says the right words..he lets his guard down a bit..and looks back to the human..and a dark smiles plays acroos his face..and mutters only faintly as the uruk pokes at the human.."..the rat cage..should do it...

Celebhir just looks at the orc this time with that one grey eye.

The guard scowls sullenly as Celebhir doesn't react. "What, too big and mighty to talk to me, Tark?"

Celebhir smiles slightly at the guard. "Shall I curse you and everyting you touch, vermin? Tell me, what would you have me say."

Glurg'erg looks up towards Grishnakh, and shrugs slightly. "Well, let's say dat da Uruk be trying to kill da Durub-Tala.. Wrongfully, witout reason. Dan he be killed, Master Vorazg. "

The guard cackles again, "Oho, that's better! Curse me, eh? Give me five minutes without orders and I'd give you reason to curse me, High-helm."

Grishnakh listens carefully to Glurg'erg, then he states flatly: "No. He would not."

Ver-beeg looks back to the Vorag and the shaman for a moment then yells to the uruk pokeing at the human "You there..get some pegs..and rope....then see to it that the human is staked to the ground..I have something that will make it talk.."

Celebhir stares, the one eyes cold on the guard. And he waits.

The guard looks over at Ver-beeg and nods quickly, then moves off with a grunt of irritation to fetch the supplies demanded.

Glurg'erg cocks an eyebrow from within his hood. "Is it though? Well, Master Vorazg, what would be done then?" There is no hint of sarcasim in Glurg's tone, he speaks flatly, with no hint of emotion.

Grishnakh's voice grows softer again. "What the tribes do to themselves is not my concern. But you will not kill without permission. Do you understand that, High Shaman?"

Mokguld steps out of some bushes, his form filthy with grime picked up through his sludging in mud. Cautiously he approaches the main encampment and regards the prisoner with curiosity.

Celebhir looks at what is most probably the filthiest orc he's ever seen. Suddenly, he finds himself so very tired, just wishing it were all over.

Glurg'erg raises an eyebrow within his hood, storing the strange reaction of the Vorazg in the back of his head, before bowing his head down slightly. " Aye, Vorazg, I do. I will not kill without permission. Should I relay this message to the other tribes, Vorazg?"

The other orc guard is now out of sight, searching for pegs and rope, leaving Celebhir alone with Mokguld.

Ver-beeg takes a few steps away form the Shaman and the Vorrazg and waves to one of his wagon guard to come over ..when it gets there he says to it.."Get the rat and the cage readly..and bring it over to where the human is..when you get there start a small fire..then wait for me.." the guard nods and runs back to the quartermaster's wagon...

Grishnakh says, "Did I tell you to relay it to anyone, Shaman? You and your tribe are who I address now. You will not kill without permission. And if the Burzum-Prakh do so, then I will see to it that they kill no more, ever."

Mokguld sniffs at the prisoner then steps away and watches Celebhir closely. Mokguld grins wickedly but makes no further move to interfere with his superiors' plans.

Celebhir watches the guards, and keeps his expression blank, but his apprehension grows.

Glurg'erg does not make a move. He seems to be digesting the Information. After a few moments, he asks, "Does this go for all Uruks, Master Vorazg? What if a Snaga be trying to stab a knife in my back? Do i let him?"

Grishnakh says, "If that happens, then you will do what you can to survive while not violating my orders. Do not be too imaginative, Shaman. Do you not realize just how tenuous is your claim to life, now?"

Ver-beeg moves away from the shaman and Vorazg now..and starts to move over to where the human is tied and waits for the uruk to camp back with the stakes an rope to tie the human to the ground.. then nods to his wagon guard as it comes over with a rat in an odd looking metal cage..and begins to start a small fire near the human...

Celebhir watches the preparations warily, looking from the rat, to the fire, to his captur.

Glurg'erg stares into the eyes of Grishnakh, putting all questions from his mind. He takes a small step back, and kneels before him, bowing his head down. "I understand, Master Vorazg. I will not kill without Permission."

Ver-beeg looks to a uruk nearby (Mokguld) and says "You there help me with the huam to tie it to the ground and you as well." point to the uruk next to Mok..them smiles as the guard comes back with the rope and stakes "Good, each of use take a limb and I'll have my guard untie the Tark..."

Grishnakh pauses for a moment, then speaks in a very low voice, so low that it is barely heard except by Glurg'erg himself. "Good. But I sense that you still do not quite understand. I will explain myself further, Shaman. If the Burzum-Prakh oppose me again, they will be destroyed. Do not doubt it. I knew Death long before the Burzum-Prakh arose in Lugburz, and I guide hands stronger and crueler than you can imagine."

Mokguld rubs his nose, an act that somehow manages to get both his arm and face dirtier at the same time, as he watches on with growing enthusiasm. Mokguld nods once to Ver-beeg and rushes over to grab the prisoner's right arm with his own muscular arms.

Glurg'erg looks up towards Grishnakh, and nod shi shead again. " Aye, I understand, Master Vorazg. I do." Glurg'erg stands from his position, and looks towards the Vorazg. "Aye, now, Is that all, Vorazg?"

Ver-beeg nods and smiles then says to gis guard as the others grab hold of the human "Untie it.." then looks ot the other uruk now we will have to tie it down quickly..and make the knots tight..do you understand me?

Celebhir seems to have given up, until the the guard starts to untiying him. As soon as he is loose and all 4 of them have a hold of him, he takes all the saved up strength and at first it looks like he is convulsing. But two feet go out to kick at those holding them and his hands punch out to claw at whatever part of that orc he can reach...in general, he bputs up quite a fight.

Grishnakh says, "No. No, it is not quite all. Understand further. Captain Ver-beeg is of use to me. More use than are you. If he dies; if he receives a knife in the back, or if he meets an unfortunate stroke of a Tark's sword, or falls from a cliff; then you will follow, and every old orc of the Burzum-Prakh. Because you do not have my permission to kill him."

Holrak has arrived.

Mokguld smiles sadistically, "Very tights..." Mokguld somehow is hit in the head as Celebhir struggles but there is little to no response as he tightens his grip and handles the human quite roughly. "Holds on, I can."

Grishnakh stands close to Glurg'erg, speaking quietly but intensely to the Shaman. Ver-beeg and Mokguld hold Celebhir, untying the captive for some other use.

Glurg'erg stares into Grishnakh's eyes, and lowers his hood from his face. His face is genuinly confused. "Kill da Quartermaster? Why in da na-" Glurg'erg cuts himself off, and bows his head down again slowly. "I agree. I will not be killing Ver-beeg. "

Ver-beeg hisses faintly and yells at Mokguld.."Hold IT down..or you will see my axe snaga!!" he then forces Celebhir's left arm to the grouns and begins to tie it to the ground...

Celebhir struggles to break free, then kicks violently at the orcs that try to grap his legs again.

Grishnakh smiles, and his voice becomes smoother, still too quiet for most to hear except Glurg'erg. "Good. Perhaps you begin to understand. The Burzum-Prakh have acted with abandon, before. But they will do so no more. Now, they will serve me. And those of you who do not wish to serve me, will learn new lessons in the ease and darkness of Death."

Mokguld whimpers slightly but renews his actions with extra vigor. Mokguld puts all his strength into forcing the human down, a considerable amount coming from the large orc.

Ver-beeg looks around and hisses at a near by uruk (Holrak) "Help tie this tarks legs to the grund..do it now!!!

VB's orders and messing with Celebhir, our captive.'.

Glurg'erg has arrived.

Holrak stalls for a second then moves toward the captive to help tie him down.

Celebhir takes careful aim this time, as best he can and kicks at the new orcs face, thn again to the other side. He tries to roll towards his captor, but the orc on his arm prevents it, barely.

Ver-beeg smiles faintly as it looks as tho the arm of the human are tied down then yells at the Tark "Stay still.." then trys to punch the human in the groin..in order to make it stop fighting fo a put..then hisses at Mokguld.."Now snaga..help with the legs...

Glurg'erg nods slightly to Grishnakh. He bends down again, bowing his head to the ground. When he sttands back up, he pulls out a black spear, and holds it out towards the Vorazg. It is carved with all sorts of blessings from the eye, and the point is made of obsidian. " Dis be a gift... A symbol dat da BP be fallowing you, Vorazg. And we not kill without Permission."

Celebhir turns slightly and the blow doesn't quite catch him where it should have, but he acts like it at first, then kicks again at the two orc, while twisting to try to bite his capteur.

Holrak smiles at the captive and gets closer to him trying to pin him down. This gondorian can't fight three

Mokguld eyes the thrashing legs wearily, not liking the idea of nearing the flailing limbs any but certainly not liking the alternative any more. The orc smiles at the help of Holrak and tackles the leg closest to him.

Grishnakh takes the proffered spear with a tight smile, and hefts it high. "Very well, Shaman. You have my permission to live, and to lead the Burzum-Prakh."

Celebhir tries to keep fighting, doing his best to get a kick in here or there when possible.

Glurg'erg gives Grishnakh a Spear.

Holrak wrenches the leg tightly gripping it as hard as he can without breaking it.

Glurg'erg bows down low, wondering how the Vorazg knew he was the Durub-tala. " I thank you, Master Vorazg. I will follow your orders and the eye to the death."

Ver-beeg hiss at the human "Now you have done it Tark..now you will know pain..and will come to wish you're dead when I'm done with you.." then stand and kicks the human in the side with all his might...

Holrak snarls at the pleasurable sight of seeing the human being kicked. Joy is no greater than this.

Mokguld snags the other leg and jerks it roughly, finding leverage by forcing Celebhir's two legs apart.

Celebhir gasps loudly as the orc's boot connects with his side with a cracking sound. He coughs and almost passes out, blood bubbling up as he does.

Grishnakh nods slowly to Glurg'erg, and steps away.

Glurg'erg glances quickly over to Ver-beeg, and his eyes narrow. "You will kill him, Second!" He turns around abruptly, and lopes over to where the Human is laying. He bends down next to him, and prods his fingers where his ribs are.

Ver-beeg hisses to the other uruks "Now quickly tie it down..then the fun will begin.." he then looks to the rat in the cage than back to the human and smiles...
