NEWS: War Between the Tribes

A very hectic night indeed was Septempber 11, 1996. It must've started with Karbauk taking a few snaga and whispering to them behind his wagon, often peering in the direction of the Zaghbuurz wagons. Soon the tek'rak was bellowing out orders to his troops, the snaga sneeking up on the guards of the wagons, particulary SKAL_NEBUURK and THERIKA. Hordes of Ashjaki began to sweep back and forth on their way to the wagons, patterns to dodge blows from arrows.

MUZGASH was awoken from the chaos begining outside, and ordered his orcs to kill any Ashjaki within 10 feet of the wagons or to start slaying the Pulgorburzobs if they had started shooting arrows themselves. Apparantly this great fuss was over the Rakarg, GULGOTH who rests inside the wagons of Zaghbuurz.

KARBAUK continued to yell orders to his uruks, while MORDENAUG and GRAZZT whispered business close by. Soon MORDENAUG had disappeared however, and GRAZZT stood by watching. Soon, BARGOK appeared at the seen, MUZGASH quickly using him as an ally... telling him that KARBAUK had arranged this 'mutiny'. Soon BARGOK rallied his orcs, and they attacked the Ashjaki troops charging the Zaghbuurz wagons. A bloody mess followed, snagas often thinking of themselves big enough to fight single handedly the almost healed KARBAUK... who dueled with SKAL_NEBUURK, THERIKA, and VRISMAG.

Soon annoyed was KARBAUK with the snaga, pushing through the snagas and approaching the Rakarg, BARGOK who used words of insult towards KARBAUK. MUZGASH killed himself a few snaga Ashjaki on the spot, as masses of battle raged on. The Ashjaki armies were depleting, and soon, after a short scimitar to scimitar combat round, BARGOK had defeated KARBAUK, the Tek'Rak falling to the ground unconscous after hitting his head.

The Ashjaki retreated to their Narkuu-Mat captains, and the Ujakalsak tribes frisked KARBAUK of his equipment before dragging him to the Zaghbuurz wagon. The Ashjaki seemed to panic as the scimitar, held twice by different Ashjaki leaders, Gimb-Hosh was taken away into Ujak hands. The Captain of the Narkuu-Mat protested but was ignored. BARGOK held conversation with MUZGASH of what to do with the Tek'Rak... MUZGASH ordering to keep KARBAUK alive for the time being.

Soon, KARBAUK had uttered something out in an Ashjaki speech, and the Captains made quick approach to the wagons, grabbing the tribe's treasury. The Captain cautiously approached GRAZZT, where he made business. The Ujak and Zaghbuurz tribes warily tried to turn GRAZZT's view, but the mind of gold was strong to the olog-hai.

Soon the Captain had arranged to pay 5 gold florins to the olog for protection and another 5 for assault practices. The Olog demanded that the assault be planned later, but for now he would protect the Tek'Rak and Captain. MUZGASH threateningly poked the sharp end of his blade into KARBAUK's throat, barly piercing his skin.

The Captain continued to tell the olog of how he would lose source of money when KARBAUK was killed, but MUZGASH continued to threaten to kill KARBAUK if GRAZZT was not called off. Soon however, GRAZZT simply ordered the 'stubborn orcs' to release the prisoner (KARBAUK). At first they delayed, MUZGASH poking the spear closer into KARBAUK's throat.

But, fear of death was what led them to release KARBAUK, as GRAZZT said, "Release the prisoner or die.". The uruks were forced to obey by their own fear. KARBAUK cockyly walked to his wagon, demanding his equipment back from MUZGASH. GRAZZT was told from the Zaghbuurz chieftan that their would be faster response to GRAZZT's command in the future... but still he told KARBAUK that he would be caught by the Dark Lords.

KARBAUK believed not that the Dark Ones would kill himself, after finding out that MUZGASH was holding a traitor and protecting him. ((GULGOTH), yes he's the one this whole fuss is about :)) He pointed this out several times to take no effect... and went back to his wagon to take care of himself with no worries.

Will there be another threat of civil war between tribes? As there was, months before? Ujakalsaks have chosen sides with the Zaghbuurz and are against the Ashjaki... you decide which side you are on...
